EPA has designated Tetra Tech, and their subcontractor Adaapta, as the assistance provider starting in October 2024. Mission
The mission of the KSU Job Training Technical Assistance to Brownfields (JT-TAB) program is to provide residents of brownfields-affected communities with the knowledge and resources necessary to undertake activities that will maximize:
- Environmental job development,
- Education, and
- Employment opportunities.
What KSU JT-TAB can do for YOU
Some of our featured resources include:
- Meetings and webinars for all funded and prospective JT grantees.
- Monthly Professional Learning Community (PLC) conference calls that feature various aspects of building and sustaining a successful job development program.
- Bi-monthly CONNECT Newsletters presenting relevant issues related Brownfields Job Training.
- An Annual All-Grantee Meeting bringing together aspiring, new, and current grantees to discuss implementation strategies.
- An Annual Professional Development Refresher discussing the latest strategies in Brownfields Job Training.
- Periodic and timely reports and studies on best practices in job training.
JT-TAB (formerly HMTRI), has been working with the EPA Brownfields Program since its inception in 1994. Since that time, JT-TAB has organized and conducted 24 annual Environmental Job Development All-Grantee meetings attended by more than 1,500 EPA-funded Environmental Workforce Development and Job Training (JT) grantees and prospective grantees focusing on improving the effectiveness of job training programs, and sharing training and job development methodologies.
