Mission
We assist communities in EPA Regions 5, 6, 7 and 8 who are redeveloping brownfields. We also provide online tools (available nationally) to create site inventories and to write proposals for EPA funding.
Support
Brownfields technical assistance is available to cities, nonprofits and Tribal organizations at no cost. TAB is a national program funded by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). TAB helps guide local and tribal governments through the brownfields redevelopment process, using custom-selected teams of experts to address site-specific needs. TAB assistance is usually coordinated through the city, tribal or nonprofit brownfields project manager.
